Dear Autopay,

How to stop EarnIn auto-debits

Want EarnIn (Cash Out) to stop pulling money from your bank? Here's how to revoke your ACH authorization for EarnIn in plain steps: tell EarnIn in writing, tell your bank, and keep proof.

Steps to revoke EarnIn's ACH authorization

  1. Make your letter. Use the Dear Autopay letter tool to fill in a EarnIn revocation letter and a bank letter in about 2 minutes.
  2. Send it to EarnIn. Email the letter to care@earnin.com (EarnIn's general support address) from the email on your EarnIn account. Their channel: Email care@earnin.com (EarnIn's general support address) and use in-app support/live chat + bank. Closing your profile does NOT revoke pending debits.
  3. Tell your bank. Send the bank letter, or call your bank and ask it to stop payment and block future debits from EarnIn. Banks must honor a stop payment made at least 3 business days before a scheduled debit.
  4. Keep proof. Save a copy or screenshot of what you sent and the date.
  5. Watch your statement. Check your account after the next scheduled debit date. If a debit posts after you revoked, contact your bank promptly.

⏰ EarnIn notice period: No notice period stated. Use live chat in the app, and also tell your bank. Your bank: at least 3 business days before the debit. Debits already scheduled or processing may still go through.
